J. South Lewis, II is a shareholder with the firm of Willson Jones Carter & Baxley, P.A., in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Lewis received his B.S. degree, cum laude, from The Citadel and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2001 and is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. His practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense, as well as general labor and employment matters on behalf of management. In the labor and employment context, he handles employment discrimination issues in the areas of race, sex, age and disability; works with clients on FMLA, ADA and military leave issues; and advises on employee handbooks and policies.
